Dale began his illustration career by drawing fridges, auto parts, etc for advertisers of a weekly newspaper, as well as learning a printing process.He opened "Studio Two Ltd." when architects started using his watercolors for rendering of proposed projects. He illustrated City Hall, Jubilee Auditorium, CN Tower, Chateau Lacombe and hundreds of others.He taught watercolor workshops at NAIT, Lakeland College and UofA Extension. In 2009, Parks Canada commissioned Dale and his son Derrill to paint views of the Slave River in Fort Smith, NWT area. He currently enjoys success with the collectors of his large watercolours (which may be as large as 2" x 6" of outdoor scenes of Alberta & BC, with the Pigeon Lake Artist Society annual exhibition.
