Peter Jacobs

Peter was born in Canada of immigrant parents. Always interested in visual arts he became a professional photographer, a career he followed for 20 years. While working as a photographer he became interested in drawing and painting. He started by taking evening and weekend courses through local schools, the University of Alberta Extension and Red Deer Collage. His realistic scenery, architectural details and everyday scenes have made his work sought after by both local and international collectors. He is intrigued by overlapping shapes, lights, darks, and patterns. He has solo shows and takes part in many juried group shows.
